Yael Designs Featured in National Jeweler for Groundbreaking Gemstone Innovation

We’re honored to be spotlighted in National Jeweler for our revolutionary design debut – the Sentience Bangle, a $119,000 masterpiece that introduces a world-first: a gemstone set seamlessly inside another gemstone.

Designed by Yael founder Yehouda Saketkhou and created in collaboration with renowned gem artist Glenn Lehrer, the bangle features a 7-carat tanzanite set within a 26-carat aquamarine, enhanced with diamonds and moonstones in 18K white gold. Using Lehrer’s signature TorusRing Cut, the two stones are fused through invisible platinum wires, creating a mirror-like effect where the vibrant tanzanite glows from within the aquamarine with no visible setting.

This technique – dubbed the Stone-in-Stone setting – marks a bold new chapter in fine jewelry, with Sentience leading an entire collection that debuted at the JCK Luxury Show in Las Vegas.

Yael is proud to continue redefining the boundaries of design, color, and craftsmanship.

Thank you National Jeweler and Michelle Graff for the feature.
